Karl Martinez

Karl is a Director at EMX Capital. He has more than 10 years of experience in the Financial and Mobility sectors. 

Before joining EMX Capital, Karl was the Chief Financial Officer of Kolors, a mobility start-up, where he led fundraising of more than $50M dollars as well as leading the recent acquisition of Urbvan. 

Prior to Kolors, Karl worked at Seabury Capital Management, an investment firm based in New York City focused on the Aviation and Aerospace industries. Previously, Karl led several investments in the mobility sector for a Family Office. Karl also worked at Hightower Advisors in New York and Classis Capital in Milan. 

Karl is an Aerospace Engineer from Kingston University in the UK and has a master’s degree from SDA Bocconi in Italy.
